Loriana, Au-Pair (Zürich - 8010)

My name is Loriana and I am a 25 years old. I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa but after completing university, I have spent time travelling and working around Europe.
I have a genuine love for children and have a naturally care-taking personality. Having grown up with younger siblings, I have always been around children. My mom is a teacher and I would spend my school holidays or days off, helping her in the classroom, playing with the kids or at home preparing activities for the children.
The year I turned 7, my family started fostering orphaned babies and young children for weekends and over holiday periods. Through this, I came to love children and caring for them even more. By the time I was 12, I was doing all the main care for the babies and children (under supervision of course). When we didn’t have any foster babies, I spent my weekends volunteering at the orphanage. I started babysitting at 13 and have babysat 100s of children over the years. I started my first nanny job at 19 and since then have been a nanny for multiple families as well as an Aupair in Zurich for 14 months.
I find the most joy when playing with children and witnessing them figuring out the world. I believe children learn the most from the people who surround them. That is why I always strive to be a positive influence for each and every child I encounter.
I am looking for a German nanny position as I am trying to learn German for my future career.
