Maite, Kinderbetreuung (Lausanne)

Hello! My name is Maite, I am 20 years old and I’m from Spain.
I am currently studying Early Childhood Education because I am passioante about children. For me, this is not just a job, it’s a chance to disconnect and see the world through their innocent perspective. I love watching children grow and develop in every way, knowing that I contribute to their learning from the very beginning.

I consider myself and active and creative person, as I really enjoy outdoor activities, reading stories, drawing and painting. I always try to adapt to children’s needs and take an interest in what excites them.
Although my experience is still limited, I have been caring for my two little cousins- one is 10 months old, and the other is 4 years old. Through them, I have been learning about both stages of early childhood, and I find them equally fascinating. I also have experience from a school intership with children aged 3-6 years, and i will soon begin a new intership with children aged 0-3 years.

As for Lausanne, my partner is working there for six months as he has been offered a work scholarship in Nestlé. I will be joining him in the summer, once I finish my studies. I will be available from June 19th to the end of August.
