I have had over 15 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter, providing care for international families. As a nanny, I have experience driving children to/from activities, playing with them, cooking for them and preparing them for nap time/bed. In addition, I have had experience with homework help and English practice. When I am with the children, I try to incorporate creative activities, crafts and games which promote learning and are also fun. Most recently, I have been an Assistant Kindergarten Teacher at an International school, with children from 3-6 years old. I gain joy through working with children and knowing I play a role in their social, language and cognitive development. In addition, I have a lot of patience and the ability to remain calm under stressful situations. I am a native English speaker and have TEFL certification to teach English. My knowledge of German is intermediate.
