Denise, Kindermädchen (Erlenbach zh - 8703)

Hello dear host family,
I am Denise , 26 years old; I was born and raised in Tigre, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Where I have my family, Miriam and Omar, my three brothers, Manuel, Nahuel, and, my third and oldest brother, Francisco, who is married to his lovely wife, Cinthia. We are a big happy family that loves animals, that is why we have a pet that we adore, it name is Mimi, and is a 2-year-old cat. I adopted her from the street and she owned our love from the beginning.
For one year by February, I have been living with a lovely family in Zurich. As their Au Pair, I took care of their three boys, aged by the time I started 7, 10 and 13 years old. All of my main task were related to the kids: cooking, laundry and keep things tidy, besides looking after their responsibilities, activities, and playing with them. I had a good time and experience. I am grateful to them for having me in a warm and very welcoming home.
Regarding to my experience in Argentina, I worked a lot babysitting at evening , and on Sundays, I was working at a nautical school, as a secretary, and for summer in the same school, I was working at a summer camp, as instructor, where I learned a lot about how to manage with big groups of kids. We were instructing them about kayaking, swimming, optimist and many fun games in the lake. I had a lot of fun with kids and co-workers. I really enjoyed working there, It was an amazing and fun job!
I was educated in a local private school called Santa Teresa de Avila, where I went since kinder garden, and finished with an Economy and business management degree. After high school, I studied kinesiology at "Universidad de Ciencias Economicas y Sociales" (UCES), I did 4 years but realized I actually would like to dedicate to something else. So, I decided to try something else away, because working and studying far from home is an experience I wanted to try since I graduated from high school.
I studied English since I was a kid after school in a private institute, Highlands, so I accomplished to have a fluent manage over this language. In my year as Au Pair, I have done a German course A.1. in Migro Klubshule, located in Oerlikon and A.2 in HalloDeutschule, located in Zürich. I hope I can keep learning and improving this awesome language in your country, enjoy from your culture. I am really motivated to improve my German skills.
On my free time, I like to practice sports and plan trips with friends. I used to compete in tournaments for "Municipalidad de San Isidro", as a swimmer. I spent time doing this as a highly trained swimmer from 6 to 22 years old. In addition, I started playing field hockey when I was at primary school, and keep doing it until I left Argentina, on weekends, as friendly matches.
Regarding my friends, any excuse is good to spend time together. We like simple plans like going outdoors for a walk and breathe some fresh air after a whole day working. We also like playing board games while we have dinner, as Pictionary and card games, play billiards or just talk while drinking our traditional drink, Mate.
