Hello! My name is Fernanda, I am Spanish and currently living in Geneva. I am looking for a new family in Geneva to join as an au pair or live-in babysitter, as I would love to continue building my life here while pursuing my studies online.
I have recently completed my internship at the Spanish Consulate in Geneva, where I worked alongside my experience as an au pair. For the past year and a half, I have been living with a family in Geneva and taking care of their two children on a daily basis. This experience has taught me a lot about childcare and family routines.
I have experience with children of different ages, including babies and young children up to 8 years old. I enjoy creating a calm and positive environment for children and adapting to each child's personality and needs. I am happy to help with daily routines such as preparing simple meals, getting children ready in the morning, school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework, playtime, creative activities, reading, outdoor activities and bedtime routines.
I am also comfortable helping with light household tasks such as keeping children's areas organised, laundry, tidying up and helping with the general daily organisation of the home.
I am currently continuing my education through an online Master's degree. The online format gives me the flexibility to organise my studies around my working hours, which makes a live-in position a particularly good fit for me. I would love to find a family with whom I can build a long-term relationship and become a stable and trusted presence in their home.
I speak Spanish as my native language, English fluently, and I am currently improving my French. I am comfortable in an international and multilingual environment and would also be happy to speak Spanish or English with the children if this is something your family would appreciate.
I can provide references from families I have worked with in Geneva and would be very happy to share more about my previous experience.
I am a calm, caring, responsible and proactive person, and I genuinely enjoy being around children. I would love to find a family with a warm and respectful atmosphere where we can have a good relationship and make everyday life easier for each other.
