Hello, Dear Families!
I am July and I moved near Geneva from Poland last September. I have been working as a babysitter for over 4 years, and I am currently a nanny to 2 amazing Swiss-Italian children. Soon my contract comes to the end and I would like to meet other families that will be looking for a nanny in March/April.
I have variable experience working or volunteering with children all ages — either as a babysitter, nanny or an environmental educator. I am a young passionate biologist and a self-taught artist, and this is something I love to pass on to children. In the future I am considering the possibility of becoming a Montessori teacher, as it is one of the methods that I am close with. I am patient, empathetic and trustworthy, with 2 verifiable references from Poland and contacts to the famillies I am working for right now. I also have a valid work permit until 11.2030 (can be easily renewed later).
In my care I like to interest children with art or nature, we also play through singing or reading, and most important — stay away from screens. My biggest project lately is a dollhouse that we decorate only through upcycling! In my free time I also restore and paint old animal figurines like a Geppetto.
I do not have experience housekeeping but I can help with most of the house chores, take care of your animals, garden or help with renovation (painting). I like to cook delicious plant-based meals but I can also follow your directions if you want me to make anything specific.
I am bilingual (Polish and English), and I am currently learning French — so far I have worked for 2 French-speaking families and I am able to communicate with no problems.
I am looking forward to meeting you soon!
Depends on the hours and the number of kids (and their age). Different rate in Switzerland and France due to different zones (transport in Switzerland is more expensive).
