Abigail, Nanny (Genève)

Hello, my name is Abigail, I live in Geneva and I am a native English speaker.

Babies and little children are a delight to be around and I tend to look upon them as though they were my siblings. I believe that creating a thriving, entertaining and educational environment for them encourages them to become the best version of themselves on a daily basis and to discover their true personalities as well as their gifts and talents. This is what I strive for when I take care of and engage with children and it brings me so much joy to experience their growth.

I have more tha 2 years of babysitting experience. I was babysitting a wonderful Iranian-American from when she was 1 until she was 3 years old and a wonderful Swiss girl for almost a year. I truly enjoyed my time spent with them.
My past duties included giving them baths, play with their toys with them, preparing and cleaning up after their meals, take them to school and pick them up from school, go for walks or play in the park or go on fun excursions such as the zoo, the library, the museum or go swimming during the summer. I would also read them stories or create fun indoor games and would also go through their bedtime routine (taking a bath, changing into pyjamas, brush their teeth and tuck them in bed).

I am flexible and can add other responsibilities such as cooking meals, laundry, ironing and cleaning up bedrooms, kitchen, play area etc.

I am caring, enthusiastic, and an animated person, who loves to encourage children’s creativity and expression of themselves and love to teach them to be confident in and love who they are.
