Dear Family,

Hi! I am Pia and i am a Swiss Filipina.

I want to take care of children to learn German because it will a great way to learn from them. I am a Swiss citizen and i also have a Swiss passport.

In addition, I think that being an au pair/nanny is a great way to create bonds by uniting different cultures. Being the president and active in my school's foreign club also helped me with this.
As a Swiss-Filipina in the Philippines, I always wanted to learn more about the various traditions and cultures in Switzerland.

During my free time, I would most likely visit my relatives in Switzerland and my childhood friends. I would also probably read books and do arts and crafts during my free time. These arts and crafts focus mostly on costume-making, which I will be happy to help the kids with if they want or need costumes.

In addition to taking care of the kids during the times agreed upon, I am willing to do some light housework. I can cook simple dishes and pasta, my specialty, and at the same time am willing to learn to cook dishes that the kids would like to eat. I am currently an au pair in a family with two energetic boys and my contract will end on August 2016 here in Zurich.

For language lessons, i would prefer German and receive Intensive German lessons. I am currently studying A1 German
