Dear family,
My name is Irina and I am a mature, educated, responsible and trustworthy person. I have a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and another one in pedagogy- nursery/primary teacher.
I dedicated all my life supporting people in various roles, maybe that's why I choose a career in Social Work. My work experience
varies from supporting children and adults in my role as a social worker( safeguarding) to hands on care with adults - senior care assistant. I have previous experience as a nanny in Switzerland and I am currently engaged in a full-time job supporting a disabled young girl, providing care in all aspects of daily life living.
I was described by the parents from my previous experience as a nanny as an "up beat and positive person who is very child centred and understands how children develop and grow. Her use of positive discipline and clear expectations allows her to manage the children as well all other duties she had at our home like cleaning, cooking, taking care of dogs etc
I have great understanding about children's development and the importance of appropriate guidance and boudaries that contributes to promoting positive behaviours.
I would like to add that I lived and worked in the UK since 2011 and my level of English it's very good therefore I can support your children in practising their English, although the main reason why I would like to do some hours of babysitting is to also get an opportunity to communicate in French as my French skills are very basics. Before I finish with my description I also want to add that I speak some Italian.
