About Me

My name is Paula , I am 29 years old and originally from Spain. I have more than five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to school-aged kids, in different countries and settings.

My childcare journey began in Spain, where I completed my training and practical experience as a monitor de ocio y tiempo libre (leisure and free time instructor), organising creative workshops, games, and outdoor activities for children. This gave me a strong foundation in child development, safety, and educational play.

I then spent a year and a half working as an au pair, living with a family and providing daily care, school runs, and fun activities for their children. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in their routines, support their learning, and build a warm and trusting relationship with them.

For the past two years, I have been working in Switzerland as a nanny, caring for children in private households. My duties have included planning age-appropriate activities, preparing meals, helping with homework, and organising outings to parks, playgrounds, and cultural events. I have experience with children in bilingual and multicultural environments, and I adapt easily to each family's values and routines.

I speak Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, and English fluently, and I am currently learning German. Families describe me as caring, patient, responsible, and creative. I truly enjoy seeing children grow, learn, and discover the world in a safe and happy environment.

I am flexible with schedules, comfortable with occasional evenings and weekends, and I’m always happy to help with extra tasks related to the children. I look forward to meeting a family where I can contribute my experience, energy, and affection.
