Je m'appelle Natasja, j'ai 28 ans. Je viens de Pays-Bas, mais vivant à Lausanne depuis près d'un an. Je suis une personne flexible, enthousiaste, légère et active. Mais j'aime aussi penser que je suis une personne attentionnée et, pour cette raison, j'ai toujours travaillé dans la domaine sociale (Plus de dix ans, babysitting, soins quotidiens, travail dans le domaine des personnes handicapées.), car cela me passionne de ma vie. J'ai un diplôme universitaire en travail social.

Dans mon temps libre, je fais souvent du vélo, de la randonnée, de la natation, étudier le français ou je peux passer du temps tranquille à dessiner.

Dear Family,

My name is Natasja, I am 28 years old and I like to describe myself as a flexible, enthusiastic, lighthearted and active person. But I also like to think that I am a caring person and for this reason I have always worked in care taking since it overjoys my life.
In September 2016 moved from Utrecht (Netherlands) to Switzerland because my Italian boy friend got a job at the University hospital of Lausanne. Dutch is my native language but I daily speak English. The past year I have been learning the French language at migros ecole, and I will keep going to school to learn French. I also do understand and speak some Italian and German but at a basic level.

I got my degree in social applied sciences (bachelor at the university of The Hague) in 2011 and afterwards I worked for two years in an afterschool daycare centre as a tutor for children between 3 and 5 years old. During that experiences I worked in teams of three people taking care of groups of about 15 children per time. Our tasks consisted in picking up the children from school, we then spend the whole afternoon with them making a range of activities together indoor or outdoor. In my opinion one of the most important (and enjoyable) parts of that job was to closely communicate with the children and let them open up about their possible issues or simply sharing their daily life. For this reason I also learned how to look after the children as a group but also as individuals.

After this interesting experience I decided to specialize myself also in care taking of people with physical and mental disabilities. Therefore I started working within a healthcare organisation mainly taking care of people with physical disabilities who decided to live in their own place. Meanwhile I also joined a company which consists of 74 locations because it gave me the opportunity to look after and interact with people of any age and with a wide range of physical incapability in combination with behavioral disorders. It was also very rewarding to feel that my input, no matter how small, had an effect on the lives of those I was caring for.

In the Netherlands I have been working as a nanny for a nanny matching company in Amsterdam. I work for a family with an 8 month old boy 1, 5 day a week. I also fill up some babysitting for this company for children in any age. As a nanny I find it especially important to build a relationship with my nanny kids and also they look forward for my arrival, I want them to feel safe and secure with me.

Now, I am a partime nanny for a Swiss family, the kids are 5 and 6 years old in Lausanne. In the past year I was a nanny for another Swiss family 35 hours a week also with two children aged 5 and 8. This was a great chance to be in an all French environment and to get an introduction of the beautiful Switzerland ( I have been working in canton Fribourg). And to do great activities in the region Gruyere such as bob sleigh, cycling, forest trips, museum trips etc.I have a residence permit B, Swiss drivers licence and an abonnement for the public swimming pool in Lausanne (bellerive and mon repos).
