We are only looking for somebody that has a driving license, a European passport and a can obtain a permit to work in Switzerland - please do not apply unless you have these requirements as they're imperative to our search.
This is a LIVE IN position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Childcare – Primary focus on younger two children
• Provide daily care including feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap routines.
• Plan stimulating, age-appropriate activities and outings (parks, play centres, activities).
• Pick-up/drop-off from crèche and activities.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
• Support early learning and development.
• After-school care, occasional school pick-ups, activities, and homework support.
2. Support for Older Children
• Drive to and from school, activities, and social events.
• Support with homework and study habits.
• Provide gentle reminders for personal responsibilities (tidying rooms, personal hygiene, preparing for the day).
• Encourage a warm, respectful home environment and model positive behaviour.
3. Household Support
• Prepare simple, healthy evening meals for the family.
• Light household chores: loading/unloading dishwasher, general tidying, laundry support.
• Grocery shopping and meal planning for the family.
• Liaise with the team regarding pick-ups, drop-offs, and personal items to ensure smooth transitions between households.
4. Travel & Flexibility
• Join the family on domestic and international trips, providing full-time childcare during travel.
• Adapt to varying schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends as required.
• Balance intensive travel/work periods with lighter weeks on return.
