Hi!
We’re looking for a part-time nanny to take care of our little 6 years old girl. She’s sweet and easy kid - really she is ? She is used to au pair/nannies for the last 3y and had a great relationship with all of them!
HOURS
From September to end January:
- every Thursday 4:30pm to 7:30pm
- every other Wednesday 8:00 am to 7:30pm
From February to end June:
- every Monday and Tuesday 4:30pm to 7:30pm
- Wednesday 8am to 6pm
On ad-hoc basis throughout the year:
- Baby-sitting for 1-2 evenings per month
- Few occasions to work on weekends for a few hours (4-5) throughout the year
- Possibly coming with us for one or two weeks of holidays per year working 4-5h per day.
WORK
- Pick our daughter up from school, bring her to activity, play with her, shower/bath, get her ready for dinner & night
- Helping cook for the family (one child and 2 adults) some of the evenings where you work
- Light house work: helping with laundry, tidying up kid’s room, etc.
- Grocery shopping: once a week pick up grocery from nearby shop (ordered online in advance by us) while our daughter is in an activity or before picking her up from school
LOCATION: We have a house with a garden in a nice neighborhood in Confignon which is super easy to access by Tram (tram 14 stop just 300m away, 15min to downtown Geneva) or by car (highway exit 300m away). School is 5min away by foot
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with child care with appropriate references
- Speak English or French
- Need to have a driving license, if you have your own car it’s a plus to bring our daughter to activities
- Flexibility is important to eventually work 1-2 evenings extra from time to time, extend by 1-2h the hours worked when needed, be sometimes available for evening baby sitting on weekends or weekdays, and possibly coming on holidays with use for 1 or 2 weeks/year for 4-5h/day
- We prefer people who can commit to be a nanny not only for this school year but for the few years to come to give more stability to our daughter
