Olive, garde d’enfant à St-prex

I am a 27 year old artist from Brooklyn, New York, and I moved to Switzerland this past year. I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in fine arts at ÉCAL, and am looking for part-time work, beginning immediately. I only speak a little bit of French, and am taking classes, but will need to communicate with parents in English! I am able to drive but would prefer not to for work. I love working with children, and have worked as a nanny for over eight years (though I've been babysitting since I was 12). I was the director of a summer art camp and after school arts program for two years. I have worked with over ten families, but most recently, I was full time with one family for three years, beginning when the oldest was 14 months, through their second pregnancy and birth of their second child, until the kids were 2 and 4 (only leaving them because of the move to Switzerland). I prefer to work with babies and children under 4, and I use a gentle parenting and Montessori school influenced style of care. I love to do exploratory and sensory activities with kids, lots of building and play, reading, music, and of course art projects. Working and caring for children is truly my passion, it brings me joy and it inspires me! I am looking forward to meeting you and your little ones, and being a part of your life!
