Veera, jeune fille au pair à Zürich

I’ve been working with people most of my life. It started with my little siblings when we were young and I took care of them when our mom was at work. I also started babysitting in my early teens. I did two shorter work-life practices in primary schools and worked as a camp assistant in a summer camp and winter camp. I also spend a year working as an au pair in Switzerland and enjoyed every second of it. I’m still close with the family and I visit them every year.
I got more of a professional viewpoint from my nursing studies. I learned about children’s care, working with families and working with children with special needs. I also did a clinical practice in Child Welfare, in a foster institution. And of course I'm very experienced with taking care of adults too. I love working with people and it comes from my heart. My personality is naturally caring, kind and happy. I’m also responsible, understanding, flexible, respectful and trustworthy which I see as important qualities when working with people. I’m used to working with people from various backgrounds and with different personalities.
I enjoy working in a team environment and I get along well with people. I can also work independently whenever needed. I maintain a very high motivation and commitment especially when it comes to work. I think children are absolutely wonderful little human beings and I can’t imagine anything better than working with them.
