Hannah, nounou à domicile à Genève

I am an English native 26 year-old, originally from London. I came to Geneva in April 2015 to begin life as a Nanny.

I moved to Switzerland in April where I looked after 3 children (3, 5, 7) for 3 months initially. It was hard work but incredibly rewarding. I loved Switzerland so much so I decided to stay long term. After that, I looked after a 5 year old boy and a 6-month-old, then as a Governess and finally, as a Nanny/housekeeper to a little girl for the past 2 years. Given this experience and experience previously before moving to Switzerland, I have 7 years under my belt in childcare (I was a nanny before I moved to Switzerland also).

I was born and raised in Greenwich, London and went to a lovely all girls school from 4-18 years old. From there, I went to university to study English Literature. I have also previously worked in a primary school, supervised nursery children and volunteered at a special needs club. I also have adhoc experience with babies. I looked after a 6 month old part-time for 5 months and a 15 month old for 4 months at separate times.

I am a huge creative type and paint often and read a lot so this is something I like to encourage in children. I play the piano, guitar and flute. I also like to keep active by cycling, practising yoga and swimming. I like to think I am a warm, bubbly and enthusiastic character who can fulfill the role of “big sister” rather than employee (although I completely understand the need for family bonding and privacy). I am also a clean person and tend to always clean up after myself.

I will be on the hunt for a new job from end of 2019 to beginning of 2020, for around 30-35 hours per week.
