Diana, nourrice à Chêne-bougeries

I grew up in a large family, since I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters, I was always used to having a full and happy house.
When my sisters started having children, I developed a great passion for children. At the moment I have 4 nephews, aged 10, 4, 3 and 1 and I have always taken care of them. I often babysit with them, and they regularly sleep over at my house.
I love doing activities with them and getting them involved in everything I do. I believe that involving them in our activities gives them the opportunity to develop a capacity to adapt in any circumstance. And that's why I love to cook with them, like making cakes, pancakes, among others.
During the last 5 years, I’ve been working at the Tourism Unit of São João da Madeira City Hall, where the main project is Industrial Tourism. This project consists of a set of industrial tourist circuits/visits that promotes traditional industries and new creative and technological industries. Here, I was able to be in charge of the bookings and at the same time take guided tours of the different factories (pencils, shoes, hats) for children from preschool to 9th grade.
At the same time, I decided to start studying Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations at Instituto Politécnico entre Douro e Vouga (ISVOUGA) which helped me establish and develop my time management skills. Working during the day and studying in the evening was life changing. That gave me the confidence I needed to deal with different kind of tasks at the same time and adapt constantly in new environments, new challenges, and to work effectively under pressure. In both roles, I had to rely on my attention to detail and be very organized to manage everything with extreme professionalism to achieve good results.
