Experienced nanny needed to work in rotation with current nanny taking care of two boys (18mo and 3yrs). The contract is 24 hours on-call for 30 weeks per year. Schedule will be irregular due to travel but family will aim for 5 days on/ 5 days off whilst in Geneva.

A private bedroom with en suit bathroom in a separate house on the property is provided. There is a kitchen and living room which is shared with one other staff member.

Family seeks a kind nanny who can enforce rules with understanding. A Montessori approach to play and learning is preferred. The children love to play outside on our large property and go on age appropriate outings so an active and creative nanny is a must! A few other words to describe the perfect nanny are lighthearted, patient, proactive, detail oriented, and adaptable.

Nanny should be ready to commit for a full year beginning in September 2018. Extension of the contract will be determined in the summer of 2019 based on need.

There is a housekeeper but some light cleaning and children's laundry is needed. There is also a cook but healthy cooking is needed occasionally in Geneva and frequently while traveling. In the end, the family is looking for a team player who is happy to help with everything. Both parents often work from home, but also travel regularly so comfort with shared care and proxy parenting is needed.

A minimum of conversational English is a must. Working knowledge of French is a plus. Parents are interested in the children learning a third language from the nanny (Italian, Portuguese and Arabic are of particular interest). Must have an European passport or Swiss work permit already.

Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include stipend for health insurance and pay into Swiss pension.
