About me as a Babysitter

My name is Greta, I’m 19 years old and from Italy. For the past two years, I have gained valuable experience as both a babysitter and dog sitter, which has taught me responsibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to different needs.

As a babysitter, I have taken care of children from early childhood, supporting their daily routines such as preparing simple meals, helping with bedtime, organizing playtime, and creating a safe and positive environment. I enjoy spending time with children through creative activities like drawing, reading, and playing outdoors. I believe it’s important not only to look after them but also to engage with them in ways that help their growth and development.

I am attentive, caring, and reliable. Parents can count on me to manage daily tasks with consistency, while children can feel comfortable and supported in my presence. I also bring a cheerful and positive personality, which helps create a warm atmosphere at home.

In addition, my experience as a dog sitter has made me very comfortable with pets, which is helpful in households with animals. I am responsible, organized, and capable of balancing multiple tasks, making sure both children and pets feel happy and cared for.

I am looking forward to continuing this role as a babysitter or Au Pair, combining my studies at the University of Lugano with the opportunity to support a family in their everyday life.
