Location: Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland (we are moving to Hurden SZ in May 2022)
Accommodation: Live-in or Live-out
Start: January / February 2022
Days/Hours: 40-45 hrs/week (100%), including some early mornings, late evenings and some weekends (flexibility is a must!)
Salary: negotiated based on work experience and credentials and hours
We are an international family that has been living in Switzerland for 8 years. We have 2 children (ages 6 and 3.5) and we are expecting twins in March 2022.
The ideal candidate(s) would be someone who loves children, keeps cool under pressure, is responsible, energetic, extremely organised, and flexible. We are looking for a long-term commitment with the hopes you would become a valued member of our family/household.
Requirements
- flexibility (some early mornings, late evenings and weekends)
- fluent in German and/or English
*** preference given to candidates that are fluent in high German and/or Swiss German as we would like you to speak ONLY German with our children
- childcare experience: newborn - age 6 (experience with twins a huge plus!!!)
- first aid certificate
- driver's license + clean driving record (minimum 3 years of driving experience)
- Non-smokers only!
Job description / duties:
- provide a safe, stimulating, calm and happy environment for our children
- organize age and development appropriate fun activities
- drive children to and from school, playdates and various after-school activities (using our car)
- assist with homework and learning
- developing weekly meal plans, grocering shopping and preparing healthy meals (vegan)
- keeping the house clean and tidy
