We are Chris and Coco and we live with our two girls Skye (aged 9) and Charleen (aged 4.5) in the French part of Switzerland, on the edge of Lake Geneva, near Lausanne. We are a Franco-German family, so our family language is French, but I speak German with the kids. The kids are also fluent in English.

Your duty would be to pick up the kids after school at 3.45h, look after them while I finish work and help with preparing dinner or putting them to bed. My work place is in Basel, so once a week I spend a day or two in our apartment there, so if my husband is away at the same time, you would need to stay in at night with the kids and bring them to school the next day. From time to time, you and the kids can join me in going to Basel, so you could as well discover another city and the German speaking region.

We are a very open minded family with two easy-going kids and a nice life style here at the lake which is just 100m away from our house. In winter, we spend our week-ends in our mountain flat and would be glad to take you with us if you'd like to. In summer, we are mostly on our boat on the lake, doing wakeboarding, waterskiing and swimming. You would be very welcome to join us in all activities if you like.

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on, cheerful and straightforward person. A driving license would be a plus. We have a cleaning lady, so no cleaning needed, just general tidying up work, sporadic cooking and babysitting in the evenings once or twice a week and some travelling to Basel with us (200 kilometers).
