German American family looking for new “family member” (Au Pair / Nanny)
We live close to the beautiful Zuger Lake in Switzerland, are an open minded International (single parent) family with a 10-year-old son. He is very interested in science, technology, programming and computers, but also loves adventures and typical boy activities.
If you (m/f) also enjoy learning, maybe even in this area, have a sense of humor, are reliable, like to work with children, can cook and perform light household chores you may be the right candidate. Ideally you should have a driver’s license and it is important that you can swim. Especially if you like a high degree of working and planning your time independently, are adventurous and open minded, we may a good mutual fit.
While it would be ideal if you spoke German, it is not a must. My son speaks both German and English. The position is posted at 30hrs /week and any additional time is generally given as time off to go see Switzerland or other activities. It is formally posted as a junior nanny role. Wir wohnen in der Nähe vom wunderschönen Zuger See in der Schweiz, sind eine aufgeschlossene Internationale (alleinerziehende) „Familie“ mit einem 9-jaehrigen Sohn der sich sehr für die Wissenschaften, Technik und Computer interessiert. Wenn Du (m/w) ebenfalls gerne lernst, vielleicht sogar in diesem Bereich, einen Sinn für Humor hast, zuverlässig bist, gerne mit Kindern arbeitest, kochen und leichte Hausarbeit verrichten kannst, sowie es genießt „selbstständig“ Deine Zeit zu planen, dann bist Du bei uns richtig. Es ist uns wichtig, dass Du Deutsch sprichst, schwimmen kannst und einen Führerschein besitzt. Bei der Nationalität sind wir vollkommen offen.
