-I love children and I am accustomed to taken care of several kids from a very early age having been born in a big traditional family

-Working in London has given me the chance to be in contact with a multicultural reality while setting myself the challenge of thriving in a very fast-paced environment, which I think is indispensable when dealing with children. This venture has also moulded in me what I believe is a positive approach to childcare: I am kind, confident, calm and I have a very soothing attitude.

-I have the knowledge to organise and lead child leisure activities: I have been a camp monitor on several occasions

-Having been born in a traditional family, I have gained strong skills of caring for children, cleansing, dressing and nourishing infants, assisting children with homework and assignments, but, most of all, transmitting them knowledge and ideals that would be valuable for their growth and development.

-I love to read and discuss stories and I have done so since a very tender age. I used to tutor my younger cousins in several subjects and I show the patience, empathy and training skills which matter when helping a child with their homework

-I would be happy to introduce the children to new diversions such as yoga for kids, sports, artwork using recycling materials and other sustainable hobbies, should you see fit. I believe in adopting habits that can change my life for the better while having a positive impact on people around me and would be honoured to be able to share that vision with your family

-Food is a particularly important part of my life and culture and baking, more specifically, is one of my greatest passions. I am familiar with International cuisine and dietary requirements and I am comfortable with cooking both light healthy snacks or more hearty dishes, according to the occasion or appetite

-I have a valid driver’s licence therefore going out grocery shopping or running errands would not pose the slightest issue

-I am also capable to perform physically heavy work should it be required to perform housekeeping duties

-I am kind and empathetic and a great listener, however, managing staff also taught me when to be strict and reprimanding, always leading by example. I know how to address mistakes, but I am also the first one to praise when I think a good action has been accomplished

-I can keep an eye on emotional and developmental problems, knowing when to implement training or when a learning activity is of order. Being a leader is only possible with organisation, attention to details, sense of urgency and time management. Children need that kind of structure and I believe I would be the right person to help implementing it within their routine

-I also believe I demonstrate the ability to ensure the safety of your children at all times. I have been trained in CPR and being trusted with Duty Manager shifts put me in charge of more than 50 members of staff. I have also been trained as Fire Marshal and know how to react positively and effectively, even during stressful situations

-I am fluent in English, French and Portuguese and an intermediary user of Italian and Spanish. I am a very strong communicator and I believe in honest conversations as the base for a healthy relationship, especially with children

-I have an EU passport (Portuguese) and am available immediately and indefinitely

-I have a valid driver’s licence type B and a clean criminal record

-Having worked in hospitality, I understand the need to work weekends and evenings and I am flexible when it comes to hours according to the family’s needs.
