Federica, baby-sitter - 1025 St-sulpice

My name is Federica, I am 23 and I live in Lausanne.
I am an Italian student at HEC Lausanne.

To me is really important to try to be economically independent from my parents, for that during my whole life I always tried to work.

My first work experience has been as an animator in the summer camp of my city. I spent all summer with children aged between 1 and 14 yo and I really loved it. I did not found it hard and I had the feeling that between me and the children that I was taking care of were starting a sort of connection.
For that I decided to start baby sitting (part time) all the year.

I’ve done baby sitting for two little girls: Noemi, since she was one until she was 3 and Valentina, since she was 5 until she was 7. The main duties were picking them up from school, taking Valentina to her after-school activities, creating activities for them, helping Valentina with her homework. I also spent evenings with them, cooking their meals, preparing them for the bed time and reading books.

When I was at University in Italy I also gave school lessons to children of primary and secondary school.

I have been an AuPair for almost a year in Australia (Sydney) for an amazing Aussie family (we are still in contact) and I took care about 2 boys (5 & 3) and a baby.

Thanks to my experiences I know what to expect and how to interact with the children and their parents.
I'm a really open mind, polite, honest, responsible and organized girl. I'm able to do everything relating with the household, cooking as well and I love to cook healthy, delicious and original meals.
I like to spend my time with children and to become one of the people on they can rely on.
I think that studying, manners and discipline are important values and I had always done my best for the children that I took care of.
