I am a student at EHL (Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne), preparing for a bachelor's. I am seeking a part-time job as a nanny as I enjoy spending time with children.
I am free almost every evening from Monday to Friday and am flexible on weekends. I have experience babysitting for 2 kids, cooking, and helping them with homework. I focus on ensuring the child has a delicious meal and stays entertained while I babysit. Babysitting is the perfect job for me as I can balance my studies with it. If the child does not need entertainment or while he/she is watching TV, I am also able to be productive. (Win-WIn situation).
I am an outgoing, charismatic, and patient person. I rarely get agitated or stressed, so whether a child can be a handful or throws a little fit does not matter. Generally, I know how to make them happy again, and although it is hard to say, the solution is only sometimes giving them what they want.
As I have less experience than other possible candidates, I lower my prices to below minimum wage. In order to be competitive and gain more experience. It is also a fair price because of the commute and the time and effort I put into my job.
