We are looking for a nanny for my two children, ages 9 and 12. We live in a village just outside Geneva, easily accessible on bus and train. Our nanny should be fluent in French (preferable as a mother tongue, to help the children who are learning). I am a single mom, and my French is very limited, so the nanny needs to have enough English for us to be able to communicate effectively. A driving license is required. The nanny should have a visa or resident permit for Switzerland.

The main responsibilities are looking after the children after school and taking them to and from activities and playdates, as well as cooking dinner four nights a week. We would prefer a live-in nanny, but will also consider applicants who would like to live out, but who would be available to stay overnight when I travel, and to babysit in the evenings when needed, with additional payment at an hourly rate. The number of hours per week are negotiable - the job can be done on a part-time basis of 20-25 hours, or full-time (30-35 hours), in which case additional tasks including cleaning and shopping would be included.
