Hi, my name is Luca . I’m a 37-year-old Italian with Australian citizenship. I lived and worked in Australia for 14 years and obtained a second passport there.
I speak three languages fluently, and at the beginning of October I moved to Switzerland to settle here. I secured a work contract (which ended at the end of November), which allowed me to apply for a Swiss B permit.
I have experience working with children in educational and care settings from Australia where my latest employment was at the University of Western Australia Early learning centre, supporting kids 3 to 5 and with their daily routines, learning, and emotional wellbeing.
I’m calm, patient, and reliable, and I naturally create a safe and positive environment where children feel seen, understood, and encouraged. I’m also confident with structure and boundaries, while staying flexible and playful depending on each child’s personality and needs.
In addition, I have a strong background in food preparation and cooking. I’m comfortable planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals for children and families, including supporting specific preferences or dietary needs when required. I enjoy making food fun and engaging for kids, and I’m mindful of hygiene, organisation, and safety in the kitchen.
Beyond childcare and cooking, I bring practical strengths that are valuable in a nanny role: excellent communication with parents, strong organisation and time management, and the ability to handle responsibility with discretion and maturity.
Having lived internationally, I’m adaptable and confident in new environments, and I take pride in being someone families can truly rely on.
I am currently looking for a nanny position in Locarno, Losone, Lugano or surroundings, where I can support a family with childcare, meal preparation, and daily household routines, while bringing warmth, stability, and professionalism into the home.

I have a certificate and diploma as childcare educator I achieved in Australia with relevant internships and experience from some of the best childcares in Perth. I also have 10+ years experience in professional kitchens and a a qualification as a chef and a certification as health coach (including a base of Ayurveda) I can implement to cook nutritious meals. I practiced meditation for 10 years and I play didgeridoo for which I took lessons for two years and I speak at least 3 languages fluently. I'm also a great storyteller, skill I can easily implement with children of any age. I can provide certifications and references for anything.
