Hello! It’s Greta here!
I’m living in Ticino and I’m a primary school & kindergarten teacher with a Master’s degree in Education. I’m currently looking for some lovely children to take care of!
MY EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN
I decided to become a teacher when I was 19, when I started my university studies and my teaching placements in different schools in Milan.
I have 4 years of experience with primary school children (6–11 years old) and 4 years with preschool children (3–5 years old). I also spent a year as an au pair, taking care of a lovely 5-year-old child.
In summer 2021, I worked in St. Moritz at sports camps for children aged 6–12.
I also worked for a year (2022–2023) in a bilingual Kita in Unterägeri, where I gained experience with babies and toddlers.
I’m currently working part-time (50%) in a kindergarten in Ticino.
I also hold valid Swiss lifeguard and first aid certificates.
I truly love my job and feel very lucky to work with children. I’m patient, responsible, kind and, of course, a COOL babysitter!
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
I really enjoy “active babysitting”! I’d love to take your children swimming, play badminton with them, go for walks in the woods or simply spend time outdoors together.
I’m available Tuesdays (all day), Wednesday afternoons and Fridays (all day).
I’m a native Italian speaker, and I also speak English and understand French and Spanish.
WHO IS GRETA?
I’m 32, a big sports enthusiast and passionate about freediving in the open sea! I also love skiing, hiking, swimming, ice skating and badminton.
I’m a very social person and I’ve always found it easy to build strong relationships with children and their parents. I’m still in touch with many of my former pupils and their families.
I believe every child deserves to grow up surrounded by kind, caring and trustworthy people.
If you’re looking for a responsible, patient and fun babysitter, feel free to contact me!
I’m a teacher and a professionist in childcare
