Hello, my name is David and I am 21 years old.
I am patient, cheerful, caring, responsible and reliable.
I was born and raised in the United States and before moving to Switzerland in October 2021. I mostly lived in California (Silicon Valley).
I have a 5 years younger brother, whom I watched before I got hired for my first babysitting job.

My most recent job combined the roles of babysitter, driver, petsitter, house sitter, shopper and household chore helper. There were 4 children, ages 11, 13, 15 and 16 (three boys and one girl), 2 cats and 2 bunnies. I worked 20-25 hours a week. It was very important for the parents that I spoke and practiced English with the children.
My responsibilities were:
Driving the kids to and from appointments, school and sporting events.
Taking care of, cleaning up after, and feeding the pets.
Grocery shopping, doing the dishes, and running various errands for the family
The job lasted 16 months and is ending at the end of December 2023, because the family no longer needs as many hours.

My previous babysitting job (my first in Switzerland) I took care of an 11-year-old boy. It was likewise important for the parents that I spoke and practiced English with him and helped with his English homework. I picked him up from school, accompanied him home, to sporting events, and prepared snacks. The job lasted 6 months until school ended for summer break.

My first babysitting job was in the United States. The boys were 7 and 11 years old. I took care of them similarly as my second and third jobs in Switzerland described above. I worked also for 6 months until school ended for summer break.
