Beatriz Milagros, assistente all’infanzia professionale a Verbier

My name is Beatriz and I am a woman, 38 years old, from Spain, living currently in Switzerland.

I have an ample experience working with children of different ages and for different purposes. In my twenties, I used to spend plenty of my spare time in volunteering. I had the chance to work with groups of children in social disadvantage. Then I got into a NGO, where to help the community, we take care of the children of the village in groups of 12-15 in the morning, and we had plenty of fun. Here I obtain plenty of experience on organising groups of volunteers and activities for children to engage. As a part of a non-paid experience I can state I was living with my sister-in-law when she gave birth, and during 2 months that I also was helping with the baby.

Besides, I have worked as a nanny at some periods. When I first arrived in London, I took care of two twins 3, 5 y/o for 9 months. Here in Verbier, my job as a chalet host has also allowed me to work as an occasional nanny for holiday-makers. I have enjoyed organising crafts and experiments for them.
I have lived in London and Lisbon, I therefore have a good command of English (C2) and Portuguese. I do not hold a certificate on Portuguese, but my in-law family is from Cantanhede. My mother tongue is Spanish and I have some understanding of French.

I have a very wide background I have been lately specializing in Children. I hold an Msc (Hons) in Psychology with a distinction in Psychology of Childhood and Youth. I am currently enrolled in an online master on Child Studies and I have also been trained in Paediatric First Aid recently. I also have a DBS check on June last year.

Regarding my cooking skills, they are very good, since it is a task I have always enjoyed. Although I have no formal qualification, Spanish cuisine, that it is my background, is healthy and balanced.
