My name is Karen , I’m 28 years old

I grew up in a small town of Mexico a little bit far from any main city, but I have a wonderful childhood memories: climbing trees, running and playing at my backyard with my cousins.

My mother is a kindergarden teacher so she have taught me the value of the most beautiful stage of life, the importance to receive a good treat in it and how the first years are the most important, so I want to help your children to have a beautiful childhood.

I wanted to learn and live the experience of living abroad so, in 2017 I moved to USA to be aupair of an amazing family, I took care of 2 boys, 3 and 6 years old then the little baby was born and I took care of him when he was 4 months old. That was one of the best years of my life.

I have been living in Lausanne, VD since October 2018 because my husband is doing a PhD in EPFL.

I have a bachelor in Graphic designer and a master in marketing and advertising but one of my truly passions is illustration, I would love to illustrate a kids books someday.

So yes, art and crafts is one of the activities I would like to do with kids as baking and cooking, teach the kids the importance of follow steps but also improvise and have fun while you are doing what others could call "ordinary things"

Mi nombre es Karen , tengo 28 años

Crecí en una pequeña ciudad de México un poco lejos de cualquier ciudad principal, pero tengo unos recuerdos maravillosos de mi infancia: escalar árboles, correr y jugar en mi patio trasero con mis primos.

Mi madre es maestra de jardín de infantes, por lo que me enseñó el valor de la etapa más hermosa de la vida, la importancia de recibir un buen trato en la niñez y cómo los primeros años son los más importantes, por eso quiero ayudar a sus hijos a tener un hermosa infancia

Quería aprender y vivir la experiencia de vivir en el extranjero, por lo que, en 2017, me mudé a los EE. UU. Para ser aupair de una familia increíble, cuidé a 2 niños, 3 y 6 años, luego nació el bebé y lo cuidé desde los 4 meses de edad. Ese fue uno de los mejores años de mi vida.

Vivo en Lausanne desde octubre de 2018, me mude aquí debido a que mi esposo esta haciendo un doctorado en EPFL.

Tengo una licenciatura en diseño gráfico y una maestría en mercadotecnia y publicidad, pero una de mis verdaderas pasiones es la ilustración, me encantaría ilustrar libros infantiles algún día.

Así que sí, el arte y las manualidades es una de las actividades que me gustaría hacer con los niños para hornear y cocinar, enseñarles a los niños la importancia de seguir los pasos, pero también improvisar y divertirse mientras hace lo que otros podrían llamar "cosas comunes".
