Hello, my name is Mónica and I am a 23 year-old woman with five years of experience as a babysitter, teacher and nanny. I have worked with children since I was 18, first as an occasional babysitter, but I also have experience as an au pair and as a teacher for children as young as 4 years old, going up to 14 years-old. This wide experience has allowed me to work with children of different ages and backgrounds, in very different environments, gaining knowledge on how to work with children in very different situations. I conisder myself a very organize and practical person, which I think is key when working with children, as they need a well-established rutine to thrive and fully develop. I am also aware of how important this position is, as you need to be prepared to be one of the referents in a child life. A nanny should be model for behaviour, helping the children discover the world while keeping them safe.
