Hello, my name is Vasiliki. I am a Greek-American nanny with many years of experience caring for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children. I work calmly, systematically, and with emotional sensitivity, creating a safe and stable environment where children feel understood and well cared for.

For over five years, I worked closely with my aunt, who is a teacher for children with disabilities. During this time, I regularly supported children between lessons through creative activities, guided play, and quiet companionship. This experience strengthened my skills in patience, emotional regulation, and keen observation.

In addition, I worked for many years as a private nanny and babysitter in Illinois. Several families entrusted me with their children for a period of more than six years, resulting in close and long-term relationships.

I offer sensitive support to children when they are crying, frustrated, or overwhelmed, and I place great emphasis on emotional security. I am convinced that early childhood, especially from around 2.5 to 3 years of age, is crucial for healthy development.

I offer individually tailored care, based on all information provided by the parents regarding routines, nutrition, sensitivities, temperament, and family values. From this, I develop a reliable care approach that is specifically tailored to the child.

I cook healthy meals and am familiar with Mediterranean, Italian, Greek, Mexican, and vegetarian cuisine. Clear communication and reliability are a matter of course for me.
