Dimitra is an outgoing, smiling and very solar person. She has been working for us during the past 1 year taking care of our 7 and 4 YO girls. During the daily routine Dimitra would normally pick the girls at the school bus stop, prepare the afternoon snack for them, make up her bedroom, make a bath to both girls, play with them and helping the eldest one with her homework. Each Wednesdays, when kids normally attend the school only in the morning, she also brings the 7 YO to her dance classes and entertain the little one in a playground or in a ludoteque close to the dance school while her sister is attending the class. She also uses to stay with us during the school holidays working from early in the morning until the evening. In such a long time Dimitra would always come up with great ideas to entertain the kids: organizing new games, preparing muffins and biscuits to decorate, paining, crafting and even embroidering! I must admit that many times it has not been easy to deal with two girls that are fighting for a certain game or arguing over little things…. Dimitra has always proved to be calm, patient and resilient with the girls and dealing with all the daily challenges always with a smile on her face. She can prepare healthy snacks and meals for the kids and she would always help at home with the little tasks related to the kids (ie: folding their clothes, tidying up their room after the play). It is a real pleasure to have Dimitra with us, she is now part of the family and the girls just adore her. Unfortunately given our move back to Italy we cannot keep her with us but I wish I can find another Dimitra in Italy!
