I am a fun, energetic and committed individual. I am particularly invested in ensuring the children in my care feel safe, can communicate their needs and be listened to.
Activities with children in my care are tailored to each child's interests however I do see value in ensuring children have time to be independent in play (either playing alone or with other children) with little direction from adults and just be allowed to make their own decisions about the direction of their games and imaginations. I act more as a facilitator and make it clear I am present when they need me.
