Looking for a part-time nanny, for two children aged three and one year old. The little girl goes to the nursery and the little boy stays at home.

We have a housekeeper however the successful candidate will be required to assist with the children's laundry, tidying and organising the children's areas.

Childrens Ages: A boy one year old and a girl of three years old

Languages: Fluent German would be a great advantage. The idea would be for the children to improve their German however we also speak English and French.

Start Date: Beginning of March 2018 for a long term contract

Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1pm to 6pm with one weekend per month (Friday evening - Sunday). This is a 40 percent position. Possibility to increase hours if interested in taking on housekeeping tasks.

Live-out
Shared care but possibly to become sole charge
Occasional travel may be requested
Occasional babysitting might be required on evenings and weekends as an extra

Main Tasks:
Pick up the little girl from the school
Engage children in creative and exploratory activities
Interact with them in German
Read stories, outdoor fun and imaginative activities
Caring for all aspects of the toddler boy: changing, feeding, floor time, outdoor-time
Assisting with bath and bedtime routine
Taking children to after-school activities
Preparing snacks and healthy meals for the children
Days and Hours: Monday to Friday from 1pm to 6pm

Requirements:
- Fluent French, English or German (with fluent German being a great advantage)
- A patient, reliable, trustworthy, discrete person who can take initiative
- Experience with toddlers
- Available to travel occasionally
- Valid EU Passport or Swiss Permit
- Drivers licence is not required however it would be an advantage. In such a case - a Valid Driver Licence and able to drive the children, The family will provide a car.
- First Aid Certificate would be a plus

Ideal Candidate: Someone who genuinely loves to spend time with children and who can motivate and engage them in age appropriate activities.
