My name is Zsofia and I was born and grown up in Budapest (Hungary).

When I finished my High School studies, I decided to keep on studying and I chose a higher vocational education to become a Moderator (Tv-Radio presenter). After two years when I finished my studies I applied for a trainee program for the biggest radio station in Hungary. I worked there as an editor for 9 months. While I was working for Music FM I had a chance to travel to Croatia. As I am a very open minded and direct person, I got in touch with the travel organisers and they recommended me to work with them. I joined the team in 2012 and I started to organise a Ski camp in France. By the end of the season I was awarded best sales man. After one of my ex-supervisors asked me to join him at his new workplace as a marketing assistant.

As it always was a dream of me to live abroad I left Hungary in November 2013 and went to the United Kingdom. When I arrived in London I did not speak very well in English but I accepted this challenge. To improve my English skills as fast as possible I decided to work as an Au-Pair. I have worked for an English family and took care of 3 children. I spent an unforgettable time with them and they become my second family.

Since July 2015 I am living in Switzerland and working for a Belgium family as a Nanny. As I do not speak Belgian and the children did not speak in English I had to educate them. Now they are fluent. I also started to learn German as in my opinion it is important to speak the language of the country I am living.

In my free time, I love to travel and explore new countries, cultures and gastronomy and this is also why I love to cook dishes from different countries.

I prefer to eat healthy and make everything by myself, as I believe in that proverb: “you are what you eat”.

I also sang for 11 years in my childhood. My mum signed me up to a music specialized class School, where I started to sing in the Hungarian Opera House and learnt there for 5 years whereas after I started to become a solo singer with my own teacher and sang Hungarian Folk music.

I think I am the great person for this position, because I adore to work with children and I like to educate them. As I have lots of experiences I can hardly image a situation which I could not handle or not already happened to me.

I would describe myself as a very energetic and happy person. I really like to be funky – if needed- with the kids, but next to these I try to keep the balance and I am strict with rules.

I always try to have the best relationship with the children and also to be their big sister who they can share their secrets or fears with.
