Dear family,
My name is Nazarena, and I am 25 years old. While born and raised in a small city in Argentina, I also hold EU citizenship due to my mother's Spanish heritage. Growing up alongside my younger siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces has given me invaluable experience in engaging with children. Parents have often remarked that I radiate big sister-like energy that they find reassuring when leaving their kids in my care.
Working with children has always resonated with me. Their honesty and creativity inspire me, and I cherish the unique role I can play in their lives. I approach this responsibility with the utmost seriousness, recognizing that being a part of their upbringing impacts their development.
My childcare journey spans diverse countries (Argentina, France, Switzerland) and roles (nanny, au pair, volunteer tutor), caring for multiple children simultaneously of various age groups (6m-12y.o.). This experience has enabled me to cultivate a versatile skill set, tailored to children's unique needs, fostering environments that promote both learning and enjoyment.
My commitment to childhood education is reflected in my active engagement in professional development opportunities. My educational background in psychology equips me with a deep understanding of early childhood, family dynamics, and educational principles. Moreover, I have pursued specialized training in teaching languages, as well as reading and writing abilities. I also hold a certificate in life-saving skills on infants and assistance against gender-based violence, showcasing my dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children's growth.
Working as an Au pair, I also carry out overall household management activities like cooking nutritious meals, managing school homework, taking the kids to and from extracurricular activities, planning play dates and fun outings, cleaning after the children, grocery shopping, doing laundry, tidying up rooms and closets, packing for trips, and walking the family dog.
My personality can best be described as curious, empathetic, open-minded, responsible, patient, and confident. I have a wide range of interests that span from music, sports, literature, feminism, history, and environmentalism to exploring different cultures. Sociability comes naturally to me, and I thoroughly enjoy meaningful conversations and meeting new people.
Another highlight of my personality is my strong connection with my family. Despite geographical distances, we remain tightly knit through regular communication and unwavering support for each other's endeavors. This familial bond underscores the values I bring to my interactions both within and beyond the workplace.
